Ink on a Door

I've got an ink stain on my door (from an pen which had exploded in my pocket). Does anyone have any ideas in getting it off or will I have to repaint the door? I've tried a number of different ideas but nothing seems to get it off.

have you tried WD-40? Spray on ink and wipe with Mr. Clean sponge. Worked for my white painted door. Hope it works for you. Also gets out crayon from painted walls.

Try awesome from dollar tree. I use it where the kids wrote on a wall and it worked .

If hairspray doesn't work, try rubbing alcohol.
