Can somebody help me? I'm looking for a recipe like one my great grandma use to use for pork roast or beef briskets. It has relish, Heinz 57 sauce, onions and a bunch of other stuff you can marinate with it as well serve it on the side and put a little on top when cooking.

Beef Brisket Phelan. My mother made something like this for years. Sliced garlic cloves instead of powder. Instead of the onion soup mix it was a can of beef consomme. If you make it with a chili sauce other than Heinz brand, it won't taste the same. Supermarkets usually have the chili sauce next to the catsup, the bbq sauce, the worcestershire, or the alternative expensive goourmet bbq sauces. However, it's not an expensive item.
The chili sauce is nicely spiced, but absolutely not hot. They probably should have given it another name.
