Dora The Explorer Birthday Cake |
|
|
I am trying to think of ideas for a Dora birthday cake. I have the new Betty Crocker fill pan so I am really trying to base ideas using that particular pan. Any ideas would help.
Thanks! Kelly from Hephzibah, GA

RE: Dora The Explorer Birthday Cake
Since Dora is always on the lookout for an adventure, how about a cake in a map-type format that gives clues to search for items at the party. It's a great tie-in to initiate games for the kids.

Most Dora episodes feature 3 things that Dora and Boots have to do to "save the day" or in this case "wish you happy birthday". You could make the cake be the mountain for the last thing she has to do. Come up with a little story on the cake tray like she has to cross the pond (small bowl with blue colored water), open the gate (graham crackers???) and climb the mountain. Then get a little figurine to place on the cake tray, and move her through the 3 things before singing happy birthday.
