Baby wipes, i.e. Pampers, huggies, etc. Make great makeup removers, carpet cleaners and work to take off many type of stains, at about half the cost of other cleansers and cleaners
Also great when painting--very quickly and easily take "boo boos" off of trim, mouldings, etc.
Really wouldn't recommend using on face (i.e. removing makeup or cleansing)--they are not made to be around eyes and can be very irritating. Eye "sensitivities" are completely different than skin (even a baby's skin).
HOWEVER, they do make a great "pick-me up" on a hot summer day--keep (closed) in fridge, wipe on neck (front AND back!) and chest--cooling and soothing.

I have also used baby wipes to clean the interior of my car. When I have to wait in my parked car I will pull a wipe and just hit the dash board etc. Easy to do and very cheep.

Question, I always buy the cheapie wipes but had a certificate for store that did not carry cheapies. I use them for makeup and quick clean up of bath counters. They had Pampers and so I got some, well I was shocked. I put too much make up on and used a Pampers wipe and OUCH it was rough I would not use those to clean a baby's tender skin. I even rechecked the container to see it it was Pampers and it was.

And you can buy the refills at the 99 cent stores. When you unwrap then place in a freezer zip lock to stay moist and handy.Scented or unscented.
