How do I fix ripped carpet?

You can sew it or tape it. Depends on the type and condition of carpet and the extent of the damage. ewing it is just as it sounds, you use a think needle and thread and sew it up. Taping it is done with carpet tape and a hot iron. This is how a lot of professionals treat seams on carpet for unconditional sized room or shaped rooms (like L shaped rooms). The only other thing you can do if it is a small rip in an inconspicous place is to hide it with a piece of furniture.
