I am planning on etching my glass canisters. Hubby will help me when I do it. I have gallon glass jars that I use for my canisters. I also would like to buy some smooth jars and etch them with names of family memebers and fill them with bath salts. Or most anything. I love recycled items.

There are sprays that use can use with stencils to give a mirror or any other glass the etched look. These are much safer and look beautiful when done!

Not sure if you plan to use an engraving tool or not, but I suggest Armor Etch. Just use your stencil or create your own with contact paper, make sure its stuck firmly to the mirror, "paint on" armor etch. Let sit for 15-30 mins and remove stencil/excess etch cream. Wash with window cleaner. Be careful not to make a mess or itll etch any part of the mirror it touches.

Hazardous chemicals are used, I highly advise you not to do this!
