Cook onion in margarine until light brown. Combine egg and milk; add to Bisquick mix and stir only until dry mixed ingredients are moistened. Add onion and half of cheese. Mix. Spread dough in greased 8 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
I used to have this recipe and lost it, thanks for posting it. I found if I made it the day before and wrapped it in plastic wrap that it really enhanced the flavor!

In a skillet, saute' onion in oil until tender. Place biscuit mix in a bowl. Combine eggs and milk; stir into biscuit mix just until combined. Stir in the onion, 1 cup cheese, and 4 tsp. parsley. Spread the batter into 2 greased 8 inch round baking pans. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and top of bread is lightly browned.
