Moist Pound Cake
- 2 stick butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups flour, sifted 4 times
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, beating until creamy. Beat in vanilla. Spoon into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
