Plates for Candles

Instead of buying fancy plates to set my large candles on, I use inexpensive salad plates either from my house or yard sales.

I, too, use plates, but I only use candles when the lights go out - not for decorative purposes. If this is the case with anyone else, put foil, shiny side up, on the plate to reflect more of the candle's light and place the candle by a mirror if possible.

I have also bought the glass inserts from microwaves, at thrift stores. You can add a flower arrangement, or anything you like, then place the candles in the middle.
