Take a 6 inch ginger root and slice it. Put it in a non-aluminum pot with about 3 cups of fresh water. Cover the pot tightly and bring to a simmer. Allow to simmer (not boil) for 20 minutes. Remove from stove and add the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and honey to taste. A wonderful remedy for bronchitis and the flu.
