Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

Beat margarine and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears. Add flour and baking powder alternately with sour cream. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured loaf or bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for one hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream. Delicious!

Just a glob of dough wasted my sugar and eggs cooked for one hour. Nice and brown when cut uncooked and raw.
