Creamy Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Directions:

Mix sour cream, mushrooms, soup, chicken bouillon cubes and 1 1/2 cans water. Pour over raw chicken pieces; bake uncovered in a long, narrow baking dish at 350 degrees F. for 45-60 minutes. Turn chicken pieces occasionally. This is good served with rice.

Recipe: Creamy Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup her stuffing mix, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine

Directions

Put chicken in pan. Top with cheese. Spread soup, then stuffing mix on each pieces. Pour melted butter over all. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees F.

RE: Creamy Baked Chicken Breast

I love this recipe. It is delicious! What I have left over, I freeze. It's good to have for a quick meal later on. Just heat it in the oven and it comes out hot and crispy.

I use Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned stuffing mix and cut the chicken breast in small pieces like chicken tenders. (01/13/2009)
