Adding Lemon Flavor to White Cake Mix?

I am using a white cake mix, can I substitute lemon juice for the water to make it a lemon cake?

I think it would be ok to use lemon juice instead of the water, but I would use a packet of Kool Aid lemon powder, unsweetened.
