I was told they were Pits. I have seen the mom and she is a Pit, but I have no clue what the father looks like.

A beautiful pair of pit bulls is my vote!
Although they don't look identical, mostly in the nose area, both puppies seem to have pit characteristics. 'd say there may be a chance there's some other breed mixed in but the pit in your puppies bloodline certainly overrides any other breed.
They may be mixed with Jack Russell terrier.
They may have some other breed mixed in but they are at least 75% pit bull.
I would have to say if they are mixed it is a hard one to see in the two dogs. You can be sure the dogs are pit for sure and it really shws in them.
