Cauliflower Pear Stew

This is one of the many inventions I have created with cauliflower and other vegetables. Any vegetables can be added but these in particular work well.

Prep Time: 1 hour

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 90 minutes

Yield: 6 servings

  1. Cut up the vegetables (make sure the cauliflower is small).
  2. Add 1/2 gallon water to soup pot.
  3. Add bone broth to pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Add any and all spices wanted, including ginger and garlic. Turn down heat to medium high.
  5. Add cauliflower, onion, pears, and remaining vegetables.
  6. Add mushrooms last. 5 minutes later, turn off soup.
  7. Serve.

Sounds delicious, and thanks for posting. I particularly love the fact you don't use oil or butter (as so many recipes do; needlessly, I think)!

thank you! and yes, I do not cook with fat. I have transformed my life and health with a plant based low fat diet and that is why I mainly post recipes like that precisely because too much out there relies too much on oils/butter! Even vegan cuisine is generally too 'fatty' for my taste
