A friend of mine was recently ordered to pay child support. The only income she currently has is her son's SSD check. Is that legal?

This is a case where she needs to go to the Friend of the Court of the courthouse that ordered this. She has to give them the information on her income. No, it is not legal for her to pay it out of that income, but she won't get it stopped if she doesn't let them know her situation.
It may even require a court hearing - but it is worth it if necessry.
