How does one remove a cigarette burn from a carpet?

Cigarette Burn on Carpet

Use an exacto knife and gently cut out the burnt carpet threads. Then find a corner or inconspicuous area and cut some of the fibers and glue them into the burnt spot. (02/17/2010)
