When cleaning textured walls, slip and an old sock over your hand. A sponge sometimes tears easily and the old sock will not break in bits and pieces like a sponge.

Cleaning Textured Walls

I use an old toothbrush or fingernail cleaning brush because our textured walls seem so deep. I get a bucket of hot water with a little bit of dishsoap in it and it doesn't take much at all to scrub it out. (11/27/2004)
