If you need to put a screw in sunglasses or eyeglasses, dab the screw with clear nail polish to keep it in place. The nail polish keeps it in place as it gets in all the cracks and spaces.

Good idea, but one word of caution-if you do this on eyeglasses that are under warranty & end up needing to have them repaired, this will void the warranty. If you have them under warranty & the screw comes out or won't stay tight-take them in & they can put something on the screws to keep them from coming out.
I wore eyeglasses for years, and almost always wore mine three years before seeking a new exam. Wish I'd thought of this simple trick.
