I'm cooking shredded Chipotle Baracoa beef bowls on steamed rice, pinto beans, and corn tomato salsa. How much beef roast would I need for 300 people?
Beef is 1/4 pound per person.
I would go with 130 pounds because of how much it cooks off
I do not know when your dinner is scheduled but 300 is a lot of people (and work).
i agree that you probably will need between 120-140 pounds but a lot would depend on the age of the crowd as younger folks will tend to eat more meat than an older crowd so I would keep that in mind also.
