The recipe for crock pot baked beans sounds delicious. Can I leave out the Lima beans?

I have never tried that particular recipe, but I am sure that you can use any beans that you like. I have a recipe that calls for 3 cans of pork and beans, but I sub just about any that I have on hand, or whatever is on sale. You can't go wrong with baked beans! It is really the seasonings and sauce that makes it great!

You could leave them out but lima beans have a wonderful buttery flavor which is probably why they were chosen for that particular recipe. If you do leave them out be sure to replace the lima bean amount recommended of other bean called for in the recipe.
