De-clutter Your Counter Top for Small Appliances

To keep my small appliances from cluttering my cabinet top, but still handy I keep the box the appliance comes in. These boxes stack neatly in a smaller place. If I don't have the original box, I find one that it will fit in. I cover these boxes with wall paper or self stick shelf paper. I label the box, so it can be found in a glance. This works for me, as I live in a small apartment. I use lots of small appliances, such as a hand mixer, sandwich maker, waffle iron, and a small food chopper.

The round dehydrator is stored in it's box on the bottom shelf of a lower cupboard, to protect it from appliances. The box is slippery and bulky so I duct taped a handle on the front of it. This gives me something to easily grab to pull it forward and lift out of the cupboard. The tape is attached along the sides of the box to give it lots to stick to.
