Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

This recipe is fast and everyone loves it.

Yield: 6 servings



  1. Cook macaroni according to box instructions.

  3. While pasta cooks place flour, salt, and pepper into a large saucepan. Add milk stirring until well blended.
  4. Drop cream cheese by teaspoon fulls into milk mixture, bring to boil over med heat, stir constantly.
  5. Reduce heat, simmer for two minutes or until thick. Stir in mustard and garlic. Simmer 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add cheddar cheese stir until melted.
  6. Then combine the pasta and cheese sauce in a large bowl mix well.

Finally, someone has agreed with me to NOT put creamy mac and cheese into the oven. It dries out the mixture and tastes terrible. I can understand a minute or two under the broiler to get that cheese browned, but I don't even do that!


I just love your recipe (it's a bit different from mine) and can't wait to try it. Thanks!
