Diluting Laundry Detergent

I've tried cheaper detergents and homemade laundry detergent but I always go back to Tide Coldwater. I love the smell it leaves my clothes. I've discovered that if I diluted the Tide by 50% water and 50% Tide, my clothes are just as clean and smell just as good.

I double the amount of detergent and it comes to even less money than a cheaper detergent! Plus I'm saving money by using the Coldwater formula not having to use electricity to heat the water. I use cold water for the rinse cycle also.

You may also dilute powdered laundry detergent with baking soda and it helps freshen your clothes!

Faith71: If you just cut your detergent amount in half...won't you get same results as mixing it 50-50 w/ H20?
