Dog Has Sensitive Bumps on Back?

My dog suddenly isn't able to jump on the bed or anything without hurting himself. He has lumps on his back and when you touch them his nerves start twitching. Do you know what this is?

It is important that you see a vet immediately. Especially, if you say when the bumps are touched it effects his nerves. Here are some of the reason and causes for bumps on a dog's skin.

One type of bump looks like a pimple and when it opens white puss come out. This is called a sebaceous cyst.
Warts is yet another virus infection that is found on young dogs. Normally they are around the mouth area and go away. However, some don't go away and have to be removed.

An abscess is yet another pump that is on a dog's skin. This is normally from a bite from another animal or a bug.
A mast cell tumor is the most common bump found on a dog skin. This is also a caner on the dog.

No matter what type of bump this is on your dog you need to take them to the vet immediately. From the sound of it your dog has many bumps on his and they are very painful. Go to the vet and find out what is causing this problem.
