Easy Felt Flowers - 5 finished felt roses These sweet little flowers are made from felt and hot glue. They're really easy to put together. You could use them as gift toppers, on cards, pinned on as a brooch, or tied in your hair.

Total Time: 1 hour

Yield: 5 roses

Supplies:

coloured felt (red, pink, green)
scissors
hot glue gun with glue

Steps:

Cut your felt into long strips.

Fold the very end of one strip and cut a tiny dash into it, not going all the way through to the end.

Fold it again a little looser and cut another small dash in it.

Repeat the fold and cut until your strip has 5 to 6 little openings all the way across, with the ends intact.

Now squeeze together one of the ends of the strip.

Poke the end into the closest hole and pull it taut.

Keep going until you've woven your way through all the holes. It will look like a long braid.

Repeat with other pieces of felt.

Add some hot glue to the end of the braided strip then tightly roll it in to make the center of the rose.

Keep rolling it into the braids, adding hot glue every turn, all the way to the end.

Glue the end of the strip under the rose and hold in place for 20 seconds to keep shut.

Cut little leaf shapes out of the green felt and glue to lower sides of roses.
