A field of brightly colored zinnias.
Zinnias are originally from Mexico and the surrounding area. They are related to the sunflower and daisy. These bright flowers grow well as an annual.

Photo Description
After riding by and seeing a garden with rows of zinnias in it that my Mama could not stop talking about, my Daddy decided that he could do better than that....and he did. That has been some years ago so the field of zinnias has become something that we all look forward too every year.

I was out in my yard and I saw the zinnias had popped out in all their colors! I like to plant these flowers, because they are so easy to admire.
