Fixing a Bad Dye Job?

A woman with dyed blonde hair.I've have always had really pretty blonde hair. That was what my husband loved about me. Well 8 years ago a salon messed up my hair. I have lots of pigments and told them that I just wanted some low lights and a little lighter blonde highlights. Well they turned it red. It looked so bad I changed it to solid brown 8 years ago. It has been brown, but now I wanted go back blonde so I got a hair stripper a salon lady told me to use and then picked out a pretty blonde color. From the pic you can see it turned it yellow. It didn't even take the blonde, still looks like I just stripped the color out. Is there anything I can do at home just to darken my blonde? I don't want to go and put another dye right on it, but it looks horrible to me. I really don't want go back to brown, if I buy a dye. I know coffee won't darken it. Is there anything else?

Your products you are using are compounding your issue. You need HAIR RESTORATION 9-1-1. Surprised it has not broken off in the meanwhile. Some people will continue till hair falls out. Blonde hair changes is like a crap shoot. Even the water you wash it in can change it...rust in the water, chlorine has green tints, get a professional.

You may want to prioritize healing your hair before adding more product

A radical fix is a big chop and start over

Or else religiously give nutrition to your hair to fix the hair cuticle which is probably damaged. Hot oil or egg hair mask or avocado is good

As well professionals have good treatments

Please go to a professional! Look up stylist in your area , that specialize in color and repair . Also most salons have reviews from there clients to help you choose and decide. Using the box stuff is a gamble. Spend the money and the time with a professional!
