Freezing Avocados

Avocados do not last long, and you can freeze them to take advantage of sales.

Steps:

  1. Wash with skin on.
  2. Cut in half.
  3. Peel.
  4. Either store halves in a ziplock bag, or mash the avocado and add a little lemon or lime juice and put in an airtight container.

I sure thank you for this tip!
I never knew avacados could be put in the freezer. You've sure helped a life long situation, haha - because when avacados are on sale, I buy so many, then eat them all up in a few days, until I'm actually sick of them just to not let them go bad, so to learn this tip, is definitely the way to go! Thank you for sharing this. :)

I just clean, cut in half,put in freezer bag and freeze.
