Freezing Store Bought Bread

My husband and I seldom eat a full loaf of bread before it gets stale or grows green stuff. I read where bread that is frozen keeps better than just keeping it in the fridge. But separating the slices became a problem. I decided to put two slices in a sandwich bag. I do this to the whole loaf. Then I put the bagged slices in the loaf bag and re-tie it. I put it in the freezer and then pull out one bag for each person to make a sandwich or toast. Take out of the bag to thaw or let sit for a minute before putting in the toaster. It is better to separate the slices to thaw. This works great for us and no more wasted bread. (I re-use the bags for the next loaf.)
