How do I get rid of shrews in a house?

I don't think you have shrews. I think you have mice. Shrews live in dirt. They are blind and dig through the dirt feeling for grubs and earthworms. They cannot live in a home. For mice, get traps. They work better than poisen because the mice can't crawl off and die then smell. Also if you don't want to kill them get a compassionate trap and take them outside and turn them loose.
I havent seen anything small and rodent like since I got a cat. Even my tubby cat went after them.
Shrews absolutely live in houses. I currently have a shrew issue in my house. I know for a fact they are shrews as I caught with a blanket. It had a long pig like nose which mice do not have.
