Getting Tomato Seeds out of Tomatoes

I had an older tomato and I wanted to get out the seeds. I filled a bowl of water and squished the tomato under the water. All the seeds were in the water. I threw the tomato part into the compost pile and the water and seeds into my indoor growing houseplant bowls, or out into my garden area where I try to grow seeds from scratch.

It was really easy, and they were watered at the same time they were planted. Later I will throw a few egg shells over them so when it rains, it will give them calcium and also to keep the birds from eating the seeds.
