Getting a Dog After Losing One to Parvo?

My puppy died of parvo and I'me another one. It has had 7 in One, is he protected? And what can I do to kill the parvo in the yard?

It is hard to kill it in the yard. Our neighbors killed off their yard by spraying a bleach solution over it all. I have also heard of people who scrapped off the old soil and put in new soil. Parvo can live for years in the yard--neither freezing or heat of the summer kills it. Talk to your vet, he may have some products to recommend.
