I made a Valentine's card and a birthday card from these old magazines I had stored from my childhood.

Steps:
Choose an old magazine to use to make the card. For my card, I found a magazine dated February 1958 which is the month and year my husband was born. This is the one I chose to make him a Valentine card. The other magazine is from the spring of 1964 and I chose it to make a birthday card for a good friend who was born in March 1964.
There are several free websites which allow you to download templates for magazines or newspapers. I chose a magazine template for the Valentine card and a newspaper template for the birthday card. (See https://www.lucidpress.com/pages/ and https://www.homemade-gifts-made-easy.com/newspaper-generator.html) After I made a personalized greeting, I sized them and printed them out. Then I inserted them inside of my magazine cover by stapling them to one of the pages.
