Grinding Coffee Beans Without a Coffee Grinder

I recently found that my old coffee grinder was broken. I decided to use something else we have around the house to grind the beans. Years ago I inherited my mother's old ricer.

I put the beans in the ricer and used a lot of elbow grease to grind the beans. Tada, it worked.
