Are there any programs that can help me rebuild my home from inside and paint it? It needs a new roof. The income we get is from SSI and I am unable to stay alone at all 24 hrs a day so my husband is unable to work. Please can anyone tell me where I can get help or find organizations that help?

One of the best places to start is HUD. They have so many programs to help low income families. You can also check a few government programs and some even have grants they offer. They are harder to qualify for. My first suggestion would be to call HUD and make an appointment.
