Way back when our homecoming parades had a set theme and all of the floats had to be a riff on that theme.
If that isn't the case and it is just about the teams, how about a bear hanging ram jerseys on a clothes line...hanging the other team out to dry!

I would have a boxing ring with the bears beating the rams
i would maybe do a forest or the woods, and have a bear there snacking on a ram's leg
or you can have it be a meat market and there are bears dressed as butchers and cutting sheep open (sort of graphic, I know)
or just garden variety pretty girls and boys dressed like sports figures and bears
