A baking sheet of homemade hot pockets. I got a package of crescent rounds for free, and I also had leftover meatloaf, green beans, onions and sauce. I was very pleased with how these came out. The combinations are endless. This recipe will also work with crescent rolls.

I got 9 hot pockets, even though the package stated there were only 8 rounds in there.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 8

Ingredients:

1 package crescent rolls or rounds
Leftover vegetables of choice
Leftover meat, cut small
Sauce or gravy

Ingredients for homemade hot pockets.

Steps:

Separate the crescent rolls or rounds. Flatten the rounds. If using the crescent rolls, put two triangles together to make a rectangle.

Forming the dough circle.

On one side place the meat, vegetables and a bit of sauce.

Adding the ingredients onto the dough.

Fold over the other side and seal the edges.

A formed hot pocket, ready for baking.

Place the rounds on a baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F for around 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

How easy! It will make even the most finicky eater give it a try, especially if they had a meal the night before that they liked.
