Honey Baked Chicken

Cook Time: 1 hour

Total Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes

Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

• 4-6 chicken pieces
• 1/3 cup margarine, melted
• 1/3 cup honey
• 2 Tbsp prepared mustard
• 1 tsp salt

Steps:

1. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl.
2. Put chicken in a baking dish, skin side up.
3. Pour the contents of the bowl over the chicken.

 
4. Bake at 350 degrees F for an hour, basting every 15 minutes, until done.

Looks delicious and simple. I have a question: What is "prepared mustard"? Also, can we just use honey mustard instead of honey and prepared mustard?

That would make this extra thrifty since I have plenty of honey mustard packs from buying McDonald chicken nuggets.

Prepared mustard is probably the mustard you are familiar with, the yellow condiment put on burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. This is in contrast to using mustard powder. Here's an article with the different types.
