Here is a link on dating Lefton:

1946-1953
Large crimson label with gold or silver trim. Reads Leftons Exclusive Japan

I see people asking in the hundreds for these, but they never sell at that price. I believe yours is missing the trim (I think it had a tree in the boot), although I am 90, not 100% positive.

Cute..
It is always best if we can see a picture of the bottom/label of an item but you say it reads:
Lefton's
unreadable
Exclusive Japan
I believe the 'unreadable' may be; Reg U.S. Pat. Off. which would make your item made between 1953-1971.

Not sure if this is imprinted on the item or if it is the red label with gold or silver trim.
I believe this is one of the styles that is a candle stick holder - cannot tell for sure from the pictures so this may have not had any other decoration with it.
They originally came in a pair: boy and girl with the holly wreath on different sides of the boot.
Several of these have sold on eBay over the past several months but the value is not very high.
sold prices for 2 items: $27.50 - $15 - $69.99
Price for 1 single (like yours): $49.95 (this price is high and may not happen again).

You can see the prices are not very consistent but it looks like your item value would be less than $20 plus shipping. Bear in mind that we have no way to tell how long the sold items had been listed for sale - maybe even 2 or 3 Christmases.
It is most likely too late to post it for sale as shipping time will be longer than normal and generally, people like decorations several weeks before Christmas.

Your figurine is the boy. The colors may appear in different shades but that is usually just due to the 'color run' and each 'run' will be of different shades of color.

There are a few of these listed on eBay and they are listed under the name of Lefton exclusive pixie candlestick boot, There don't give any dates or how old these are. It is the same as the one you have here. In order to date this, it would be necessary to see the label on the bottom of this item.

This way you can go to the website and to from there. Without this information, the closest I can come is around the 1950s or so but to get an exact date please check your marking on the bottom.

Lefton has a lot of these and similar ones online for sale, it dates late 50's to 60's . The value ranges from $7 to $29 . Not often will someone sell them for more than $20 in this current market. - www.etsy.com/.../adorable-lefton-sants-boot-christmas....
