Peroxide is cheap, environmentally friendly and removes most organic stains. I find it funny that most people don't know that two of the active ingredients of Oxiclean are washing soda (like Arm & Hammer) and peroxide. Save some money, buy a box and bottle and make your own, over and over again. :)

For years I have washed my white, mostly cotton, briefs separately in hot water to which I have added detergent and peroxide. I let them soak til the water cools. My briefs stay white.
I have revived old dingy white cottons, (pillow slips, etc.) by treating them in the same manner, only along with the peroxide, I add ammonia. (the combination of peroxide and ammonia being the base for most all hair bleach).
Household bleach will whiten this material, but over time, it takes on a dingy white appearance and the life of the garment is shortened.
I would like to know the exact amount of each to make this stain remover please
Here's a tip that I wrote in the past. You don't want to mix the peroxide with the baking or washing soda. Have two spray bottles; one with hydrogen peroxide and one with a baking soda/water mixture (1 cup to 2 cups of water). The measurements are not exact.

Readers should also know that contamination and heat will cause h2o2 to lose its potency. I keep mine in the refrigerator and never put anything, such as swabs, into the bottle. I pour out what I need into another container.
From my days as a hair burner, I learned hydrogen peroxide was available in tablet form. If it still is, it should be much cheaper. You mix your own with distilled water. No more bottles to the landfill. I'm going to research a source. I use a lot of peroxide and would use even more if available in tablet form.

Forgot. I don't know if this is in your list of uses. Peroxide is perfect for cleaning tooth brushes. It will boil out anything at the base of the bristles. Rinse and it's ready to use or store away.
Yes - Hydrogen Peroxide and baking soda - 2 products that I would be lost without.
I usually use a cut off 'lost mate' black sock over the small HP spray containers that I keep in my kitchen, bathroom and laundry room.
