Identifying Bugs on Fingers from Digging in the SoilI went digging for ginseng and now I have thread like bugs on my fingers, hands, and in my hair. On my fingers it looks dry cracked skin with little what looks to be thread sticking on my fingers. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

You might have a mite which got under your skin. I would see a dermatologist.

Thank you for takeing the time to respond I went to the emergency room and the checked out my hands and hair tryed convincing me that I had really dry ski no fungus or mite I had to pluck a hair out then I showed him the pitcher of canadidea I think is how you spell it he doeaent change the script says this will work for that to. So went to cvs up the street I go there enough for them to know me with a friendly wave and a hello you know well any way I showed.her my pictures of it my hands and then every ones comment's from you all she took the time to come out and grab a.fungle creem and let me know she thought it was what she felt was the best told me not to get the script of shampoo and hand creem what the doctor gave me is for dry skin t would not do any thing.

I washed with paroxside hair and all used the creem last night.My hands allready starting to feel better and the hair . Well I should say short story long lol thanks to you and every one eles that posted it helped me huge with out you and the other comments I would have listened to the doc wasted money and not started healing please pass on the thanks that's alot to Wright 2 or 3 mor times lol .thanks all

If this has spread to your hair and your hands you should really go see a doctor. You can try applying hydrogen peroxide on the affected areas to see if this will kill it and heal up your hands.

I know that you can use hydrogen peroxide in your hair and it won't harm your hair at all. Other than this a doctor can give you some creams and shampoo to treat this and clean it up.

I went to emergency room trying to tell him what was going on brought up about mites and a couple other things he said it was just dry skin finely made him listen and showed him pics on my phone he still gave me the same script went ro the pharmacy and talked to her she a greed with me that the doc was wrong and showed me some fungal creem to try said she wasent going to let me want money on shampoo for dry skin iv got more help from her and this web site so rhankyou

Contact a doctor for this,you skin is also dry and chapped.You would need to be advised on the best skin care for you! Not one size fits all!

I used gas and really scrubbed a few times and when I did that big areas my finger tips and basicaly every wher ther is a calis turned black so wiiped and rinsed my whole hand 2 more times I got home from work to nite and read your comment. So when I took a shower I brought a can of lysol in and scrubbed down 4 or 5 times just so I can get to a dock in the AM I'm going to chang all my beding before bed to night what about my chairs and things of that nature.im thinking from when I washed with gas and it it turning black when I used the gas I'm thinking it's a fungal do.you think I should sleep in my bed or don't slewp.ther .and thank you so much for takeing the time to respond
