Sorry about the bad pictures, but this is the closest I'd like to get to these bugs to get a picture.They've been appearing in my room for a few days now, on the windowsill, on my bed, and crawling up my leg from the carpet.
Any suggestions on what they are and how to get rid of them?

Looks like the common carpet beetle. Vacuum them up, do a good cleaning and you should be good. Clean up any debris around your home and plug up any gaps in windows, doors, and your foundation.
Looks like it is in the gnat family!
This is a carpet beetle that come out this time of year. What you can do is vacuum them up and empty the bag right away.
