I am trying to identify a bug found recently in my apartment. My daughter has 2 or 3 crawling on her or on her socks. They are the size of a pepper from glance. When we take them off of her and try to squeeze them or kill them they jump. When we spotted them again I used tape to take it off and closed it inside the tape.

Just a few, should not be a problem, but tell your landlord if you see more than a few so they can block the entrances and get rid of the issue. Be sure to find out what they use and if you and your punkin need to be out of the apt and for how long as chemicals are not healthy to breathe. Good luck! Let us know what happens!
You can put the bug in a plastic bag and take it anywhere they sell pesticides. They can identify it and sell you the right pesticides
i can't see in that photo what it is. you probably have to ahve it profesionally evaluated but you can also just get some insecticide or diatomaceous earth or both and trust the problem will be gone soon anyway
