I have little tiny almost microscopic insects in my kitchen sink and on the counters. I just noticed them 2 days ago. I'm in Louisiana, it's 103+ temp. I got a good zoomed in picture. They look like ants when zoomed. What are they?

They look like red ants to me.
The pix is blurry but to me they have more of the body structure of no see ums. It you use Google images there are close ups of them. Not for the faint of stomach, but it is useful. They are often but not always found near water and the can bite.
If you still aren't sure, can you put a few in a sealed glass jar and take to your local garden center? They can give you solutions once they confirm what bug it is.
