I recommend getting the bump looked at quickly by a vet. Cats, more so than dogs, can have issues with lumps and bumps escalate quickly. Prayers for your fur child! Post back to tell us what the vet says!
You need to see your Vet right away. If this is an abscess, it can seem like nothing is happening and then become systemic quickly. See your Vet.
