Your plant is a succulent and is named Sanseviera cylindrica or Cylindrical Snake Plant, African Spear plant. The plant is actually green and has been painted yellow at the top. Most true gardeners do not like this practice as it is usually done to deceive buyers into thinking it will stay this way.
Here is some information on your plant.

These are both the same plant; just different names (Sansevieria Velvet Touch is also called Sansevieria cylindrica (even on the video given) but the main point is that all are artificial colors and will grow out green. Colors are just a gimmick.

It is indeed a sansevieria cylindrica. Don't worry about the painting it will not harm the plant as it is one of the most resistant indoor plant but you should put it in a new pot just one or two centimeters larger and with decent soil but afterwards you will not have to change the pot for many years as it loves to be tight. Choose a heavy pot or put heavy gravels at the bottom because sanseveiria plant and leaves grows more in height than in width and very often the stability of the pot becomes unbalanced but this will take a few years of growth.

When new shoots will come out of the soil the leaves sometimes do not look cylindrical because the cylindrical shape is an adaptation to very dry and hot atmosphere to reduce the surface of evaporation of water.
