I found a dark brown bug on my bed, I only found one. I took the sheets off and washed my blankets in hot water. I even searched my entire bed to make sure there weren't any other bugs hiding. I'm just wondering if anybody can identify it, it would be very help.
I appreciate all the help that I can get. That was the best I could do with getting pictures of it.

It looks like a bedbug. Keep on the lookout for more.
Yeah I know but when you look closely in other photos that they didn't let me post it's shaped a little weird. The above photo makes it looks like a bed bug
Even with the new pix it is still hard to tell. It has a beetle like shape...but there are ZILLIONS of those things out there and every state has it's own host of varieties.
The easiest way to figure it out is to scoop one into a glass jar (yes, it has an ick factor, but if you use a piece of cardboard you never have to touch it), close the lid tight, double zip lock bag it, and take it to your local hardware store or garden shop and ask an expert.
Once you know exactly what it is, come back here and someone will be able to give you a good and safe way to get rid of them and prevent more.
