Identifying a Tiny Brown Bug?

Identifying a Tiny Brown BugI found this single bug walking on the bed after I came home from college classes. I am freaking out because it looked like a bed bug to me. I checked the entire bed/edges mattress and bed wood box, but didn't spot any more nor signs of infestation. Could I have carried it from school since I threw my bag on the floor? Or maybe when I went to walk my dog? Can they easily spread? Ugh!

this photo is not great, but it looks round and brown just like a bedbug.

the main question is, is it flat?

if it's flat, I hate to say you probably are infested with bedbugs

don't worry; it will only cost you $700 to clear the infestation altogether - either yourself or through an exterminator

The photo is not good, but it does resemble a bed bug and yes, you could have brought it home from your classroom. Western PA schools are having issues with this problem as we speak.

Best to talk to your RA or someone in your dorm (or your landlord if you are in off campus housing) and show them the bug so they can decide if they need to take next steps.

Post back with an update! Prayers that it is NOT a bedbug and is just a random beetle.

It does look like a bed bug. They are great travelers, so be careful.

If you have only found one chances are you brought this home with you from school. It is a bed bug from what I can tell and you need to start to treat your home now. I would get some professional advice in how you can go about this so they don't spread further.

If there is one in your room there can be more around your home. Bed bugs don't just live in your room but in your entire home. Please get your home checked soon because if you let this go it can be a lot worse to clean up and get rid of them in the end.
