Info on Ceramic Elf?

A ceramic elf figurine dressed in green.I found him at a vintage store, and thought he looked like Bing Crosby so of course I had to buy him. He's about 4 in tall. His face is a flat bisque and his outfit is a shiny green. He has no markings.

You might be in luck! There is one on ebay with a label listed as "RARE DOODIT LABEL Pixie ELF 1951 GLEASON MFG" for $40 USD.
www.ebay.com/.../154208690370?hash=item23e78de0c2... (see all pictures there).

I advise you to print and save that listing to share with anyone interested in the value of yours.

(My first instinct was to say that these pixie, gnome, elf, imp, figurines were mass produced in Japan and very popular in the mid-1960s; worth less than $10.)

This one is asking $40. That is only the asking price and it has not sold yet. www.ebay.com/.../154208690370
